Garden Sign-Up Starts February 1 – Plan to Garden in 2019!
Make plans now to reserve a bed at Good Earth Community Garden for 2019 growing season. You’ll be amazed by the type and amount of food you can grow in a 4 x 8 foot bed. Benefits of participation include compost-rich organic soil, water source at each bed, interesting and informative classes throughout the season and experienced gardeners ready to advise and assist you. Garden activities are fun and rewarding.
Bandon Good Earth Garden Plant Sale – Plan now to attend!
The annual Good Earth Community Garden Plant Sale will be held May 3rd and 4th at the Farmers and Artisans Market in Old Towne Bandon. Hundreds of organically grown vegetables starts, herbs and flowers, unusual house plants and shrubs and flowers for outside will be available. A wide selection of silent auction items include garden art and accessories! Gardening expert Jennifer Ewing and Master Gardeners will be available to provide information to enhance the gardening experience for all participants.
2019 Garden Classes
We have a great lineup of classes for novice and experienced gardeners alike this year. And two classes have been designed to introduce the youngest members of our community to the joy of gardening. See the special Children’s Programs listed below. Classes meet at Good Earth Community Garden 780 8th Court SW unless otherwise noted. In case of inclement weather classes are held at Bandon Community Youth Center at 101 11th Street SW. All classes begin at 10 AM.
